Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PromptFix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

PromptFix helps everyday people write better prompts through analysis, scoring, improvement suggestions, templates, and tutorials. Our service includes tools for prompt optimization, model comparison, and reverse prompt generation.

Accounts and Signing In

• You need an account to use most of PromptFix. To create one you provide an email address you control and your first name
• You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email address. PromptFix does not use passwords
• Anyone who can open your email inbox or use your Google account can sign in to your PromptFix account, so keep those secure and do not share sign-in links
• Use a permanent email address. Temporary or disposable addresses are not accepted, and we limit how many accounts can be created from one network or device
• You stay signed in for up to 30 days on a device. Sign out when you use a shared or public computer
• One person may not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits or free allowances

User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to use PromptFix, or the minimum age for online services in your country if that is higher (for example, 16 in some European countries)
• If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to use PromptFix, and a parent or guardian must make any purchase
• If you set up a team or school workspace, you must be at least 18 and you are responsible for the people you invite
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use PromptFix to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to bypass security measures or usage limits
• Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

Intellectual Property

The PromptFix service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by PromptFix and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of prompts and content you create using our service.

Subscription and Payments

• Free accounts have usage limits as described in our pricing
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Team plans are billed monthly per seat, separately from personal plans, with a five-seat minimum
• Free trials and other introductory access are limited to one per account and end automatically unless you choose a paid plan
• Student and education pricing requires a verified school email address, reconfirmed every 12 months. Student pricing applies to individual Starter and Pro plans only and cannot be combined with a free trial or other discounts. If verification lapses, the discount continues until your next renewal and standard pricing applies after that unless you verify again
• Current plans, prices, and limits are shown on our pricing page
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

Refunds

• If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, whether monthly, annual, or team seats
• After 14 days, payments are not refundable, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time
• Renewal payments are not refundable. You can cancel before a renewal date to avoid the next charge
• The Academy certificate is refundable within 14 days of purchase, unless a certificate has already been issued
• To ask for a refund, email admin@promptfix.online from the address on your account
• Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live

Disclaimers

PromptFix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated suggestions will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptFix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and we may delete your account data.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
